What is ABC credit?
Acloud Bank Credit (ABC) is the currency of the MCCS network. 1 ABC = 100 USD. It exists only within the network — no cash is deposited or withdrawn. You earn ABC by selling goods or services to other members.
Is my business eligible?
Any legally registered business operating in Kenya or one of our 18+ supported countries can apply. Sole traders, LLPs, limited companies, and cooperatives are all welcome.
How do I get paid?
When another member buys from you, ABC is transferred to your account instantly. You can spend that ABC with any other member on the network — no conversion needed.
What if I go into negative balance?
All accounts have a configurable negative balance limit. If you spend before you earn, your balance can go negative — up to your agreed credit limit. This is the mutual credit model: the network collectively holds zero net balance.
Is MCCS regulated?
MCCS Commerce Hub operates under the Kenya Mutual Credit Framework and is registered with the CBK. All merchant accounts are subject to KYC and AML checks.
Can I integrate ABC payments into my website?
Yes — Business and Enterprise members get API access and merchant payment links. Customers can pay you in ABC directly from your website or invoice.
